Liceo U High School Glee Club Wins Grand Prix Championship at Sarawak International Choir Festival

The Liceo U High School Glee Club has earned international recognition after winning the Grand Prix Championship, the highest honor of the Sarawak International Choir Festival, following an outstanding performance against choirs from various countries.
The Licean choristers swept all three competition categories they entered, earning championship titles in the Mixed Youth Category, Folk Category, and Musica Sacra Category, before securing the coveted Grand Prix Championship.
The choir received the following awards:
- Champion – Mixed Youth Category
- Champion – Folk Category
- Champion – Musica Sacra Category
- Grand Prix Champion
The achievement reflects the dedication, discipline, and musical excellence of the student choristers, whose performances showcased the University's commitment to artistic excellence and holistic student development.
The University likewise recognized the invaluable guidance of the choir's conductors, vocal coaches, trainers, and mentors, as well as the unwavering support of parents, alumni, and the entire Licean community, whose collective efforts contributed to the choir's success on the international stage.
